Adventures in Urban Gardening
My yard is a mess. When we first bought this house, I had so much energy and ideas about what our yard could be. But like many house projects, my enthusiasm has waned over the years. Spring in Chicago is so unreliable. Today was a rare perfect day, not too hot, sunny, her perfect. So I ran out to Home Depot, bought some supplies and a few plants to get my garden started. So far, we will have strawberries, cucumbers, greens and tomatoes. That was the easy part.
When I look at the rest of my yard, I know my work is cut out for me. So I'll tackle it a little at a time. And I'll keep you posted. Do you have an urban garden? How's it going so far?
